What is Texas Holdem Poker?

Texas Hold’em is a popular poker rule around the world, widely used in casinos and tournaments, where players try to create the strongest possible hand by combining two hands and the five community cards that are placed on the table.
Basic Rules

1. number of players
- From 2 to a maximum of 10 people can participate.
2. hand and community cards
- Each player is dealt two **hole cards** (hand).
- Up to five community cards are revealed at the table in turn and shared by all.
3. method of determining the winner
- The player who combines his or her two hole cards and five community cards to create the strongest five-card hand wins.
- The strength of the role is based on common poker hands (e.g., royal flush, full house, etc.).
Game Flow

1. blind bet
- Before the game begins, two players make a forced bet called the “small blind” and the “big blind”.
- This generates a wager between the players and the game proceeds.
2. pre-flop
- Each player is dealt two hole cards. At this point, the first round of betting takes place.
3. flop
- Three community cards will be revealed on the table. This is where the second betting round will begin.
4. turn
- A fourth community card will be revealed. This will be followed by a third betting round.
5. river
- The fifth community card will be revealed. This is the last card. The last betting round will take place.
6. showdown
- After betting is complete, players reveal their hands. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
